Who we are
Andrew has lived on the island of Colonsay since the late 70’s, setting up the Isle of Colonsay Oysters in the early 80’s and establishing his beekeeping business shortly afterwards (leading to the island becoming a black bee reserve in 2013). As he passes on the reigns of the oysters to his son in law Lars, he is now focussing even more on his bees.
Lars moved to Colonsay in April 2024 with his wife Sandy who grew up on the island and their young son Finn. He moved from Munich, where he was more than 20 years in the police service.
